Our fifth graders worked hard and showed greatness this week as they excelled in their Science STAAR tests. We are so proud of you all!

We ended our short week with many fun activities including 🏀basketball parties for our attendance challenge winners and an 🐰egg-hunt for our SLC and ECSE classrooms.

⭐Our final round of STAAR testing will be for Math and will be from Thursday April 24-Monday April 28. Reminder we cannot have visitors on these days.

✅Progress Reports for the 4th Nine Weeks will be released in Skyward on Friday April 25. Keep encouraging your students to make the most of every day of learning and holding high expectations for Greatness, Responsibility, Integrity, and Zero Excuses, showing our GRIZ in every part of our day to be GREAT GRIZZLIES!

Field Day is upcoming on May 9th. As we prepare for this day of fun for our students, please submit the permission form for your child to participate in the water slide during this event. This form was sent home on Wednesday. If you need another form, you may contact your child's teacher. Any student who does not have a signed form granting permission to slide may not participate in this station at field day, as this permission form is an LCISD requirement.

Dear Lamar CISD parents and guardians,

Please complete the required student transportation form before the last day of school on May 22, 2025. This form provides our transportation department with important information to organize bus routes for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Log into Family Access to fill out and submit the form.   

Each student, no matter their form of transportation, must have a student transportation form completed by their parent or guardian before the start of the next school year. It’s especially important for bus riders to fill out the Transportation Form to ensure they have bus transportation on the first day of school (Monday, August 11, 2025).
